Barrel:  A proprietary blend of Hammer forged chrome molly vanadium made by FN that is referred to as "Machine Gun Steel" by virtue of its required use in FN's M249 and M240 weapons.   The hammer forging process work hardens the steel, making it more durable.  In addition, the chrome process for the bore allows for a lining almost twice as thick as a standard M16 for enhanced durability.  Chambered in 5.56 NATO, with a 1:7 twist, M4 barrel extension, and a Mid-length gas system.   The modified u;tra lightweight profile barrel  is Mil-spec phosphate coated, High Pressure tested and Magnetic Particle inspected.  Barrel is finished off with a 13" Hybrid Keymod free-float rail, low profile gas block, and an A2 flash hider.Upper: Forged 7075-T6 A3 AR upper is hard coat anodized black for durability. Featuring T-marks, with PSA engraved logo, these upper upper receivers are made for us right here in the USA.Bolt Carrier Group: Bolt is shot-peened Carpenter 158, phosphate coated.  8620 steel full-auto profile carrier is chrome-lined and phosphate coate.  Gas keys are secured with grade 8 bolts and staled per mil-spec.Lower Build Kit: Includes Magpul MOE Stock,  Pistol grip, and trigger guard, Palmetto State Armory Defender Classic Lower Parts Kit and Mil-Spec diameter 6-position buffer tube assembly.Defender Classic Lower parts kit upgrades the MOE Lower parts kits with a polished fire control group in nickel, standard safety, and a double loop latch plate.Everything you need to finish your stripped lower. Each upper is assembled to order, and test fired to check gas function.*Please allow up to 15 business days for your Complete Assembled Upper to ship from our facility.
