AP Custom Tactical Carbon Fiber Handguard

AP Custom carbon-fiber handguards not only free-float the barrel for increased accuracy, but they are the lightest on the market. Carbon-fiber construction makes them very durable, extremely lightweight, and remain cool to the touch even after long firing sessions. Our carbon-fiber handguards are slotted at 2, 3, 6, 9, and 10 o'clock. These slots reduce the overall weight of the handguard, and allow for rapid cooling of the barrel for increased accuracy and longevity of the barrel. The slots also double as purchase points for our Picatinny rail sections. Our carbon-fiber handguards attach to the gun using our proprietary trunnion system and a standard mil-spec barrel nut. No epoxy is needed. No special proprietary tools are needed either- any mil-spec AR-15 armorer’s wrench will work. Mil-spec barrel nut not included. TACTICAL Configuration Handguards AP Custom Tactical carbon-fiber free-float handguards share all the same features and benefits of our Standard Configuration handguards, with the addition of being equipped with a full-length Picatinny rail permanently attached at the 12 o'clock position. All AP Custom Tactical handguards also include a pair of 2-inch Picatinny rail sections for increased mounting options. Mil-spec barrel nut not included.
